Week of the 9/20

Wednesday September 22nd: The Wednesday Night League will play shotgun at 4:00 p.m. Food will be prepared by Anthony Columbus and served at 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, September 23rd: TWI League has a playoff match on Thursday at NOON. The high school golf team plays here at 3:00. The tee will be open from 1p.m. to 2p.m. and then after 4:00 p.m.

Saturday, September 25th: There is a private tournament on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., so the limited members will be allowed to golf starting at 10:00 a.m.

Jimmy Fund Walk Fundraiser

On Saturday August 21st there will be a fundraiser to support the 2010 Jimmy Fund Walk.  The fundraiser is a spaghetti dinner.  The cost is $15.00 per person at the door and the fun starts at 6:30 pm.  There will be a 50/50 drawing and other drawing prizes.  If you are interested in making a donation for a drawing prize please contact Kate Brown.  Please feel free to invite your friends and family!

9 Hole Match Play This Weekend

This weekend is the 9 hole match play. The tournament will begin at 7:30 a.m. and end around 5:00 p.m., Lunch will be provided on Saturday during the match.  Members can play after 1:00, but it is very doubtful there will be carts available.

July 3rd

The annual July 3rd mixed tournament will be a 4 person scramble this year. Sign up as a single or couple. Call the pro-shop or stop by to sign up.

Tuesday June 22nd

There is a private tournament on Tuesday June 22nd.  The course will be closed until 2:30.  Please keep in mind the tee will be closed again at 3pm for the Tuesday league.

Course Closed

The course will be closed on Friday and Saturday for the Berry.

Upcoming Tournaments

Just a reminder that this weekend is the Governor’s Cup – the tournament is Saturday – Monday.

The Ladies’ Spring Hi/Lo will be on Saturday June 5th.

The Berry will be held on Friday June 11th and Saturday June 12th.

cancer fundraiser

the annual cancer fundraiser at the Brook will be held on Friday June 5th.  If anyone is interested in helping out with the planning or is able to donate an item for the drawings please email the club at fbgc@furnacebrookgolfclub.com.

Opening Night

Opening night will be held on Saturday April 4th.  There will be music, food and the drawing for the FREE MEMBERSHIP. 

Please remember that in order to be eligable for the free membership your account must be in good standing.  Hope to see you all there.

Opening Night/Days

Opening night for the club’s 2009 season will be held on Saturday April 4th.  As soon as more details are available they’ll be posted here.

Ladies’ Opening Day is on Saturday April 18th with a 1:30 pm shotgun start.  Men’s Opening Day is on Sunday April 19th.
