Here are some events in the next week that have some openings.

 

Senior Championship-Saturday and Sunday June 25-26. The Club Champion will be the low gross score, but there will be prizes for the net division. Tee times will be from 8:15 to 9:15 both days.

 

Men’s Member Guest- Thursday June 30 12:00 shotgun. Come join us for a fun day with some clients or some friends from another club. Lunch will begin at 11:30, with dinner to follow golf. You may bring only one guest it you can’t get a foursome. The price is $75. per player.

 

Red, White and Blue- Saturday July 2, 4:00 shotgun. Come join us for some fun in the scramble format. Anthony will be providing the food after golf. Cost is $25. per player or just $15. for the dinner.

2011 Tournament Schedules

The 2011 tournament schedules have been posted to the web site. Women’s Opening day is Saturday April 16th and Men’s is Sunday the 17th. Stop by or call the club to sign up.

Course Opening

The course will be open tomorrow for members only.  Walking only no carts.  Big thanks to Mike and team for getting the course ready for play.

Winter Party

It has been a while since we’ve posted anything to the blog and ages since we’ve been able to play.  The club is still open during the winter and if you haven’t been up make plans to head up on Saturday 2/26 for the Winter Dinner Party.  The fun starts at 7pm and is $25 per person.  Anthony will be putting out a spread and Mike Tucker will be spinning the tunes.  You need to call Donna and make a reservation for the dinner – the event is limited to 90 people so call and reserve your spot now!

Ladies Member/Member

Congrats to Sharon and Kyria for winning member/member with a net 66!  Tied for 2nd with Net 69s were Paul and Gerry and Nancy B and Sally.  Sally won long drive (big surprise) and Paula won closest to the pin.

Week of the 9/20

Wednesday September 22nd: The Wednesday Night League will play shotgun at 4:00 p.m. Food will be prepared by Anthony Columbus and served at 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, September 23rd: TWI League has a playoff match on Thursday at NOON. The high school golf team plays here at 3:00. The tee will be open from 1p.m. to 2p.m. and then after 4:00 p.m.

Saturday, September 25th: There is a private tournament on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., so the limited members will be allowed to golf starting at 10:00 a.m.

Jimmy Fund Thank You

Thank  you very much to the members who supported the 2010 Jimmy Fund walk.  The team walked the 13.1 mile route from Babson College to Copley Square yesterday.  The team appreciates the support from the club, the members and from Anthony Columbus!

Directors Cup

Congratulations to Carol Rennie for winning the Ladies’ Directors Cup.  Carol beat Sally Thompson in the final match.  Congrats Carol!
